We are in an exciting phase of growth and so looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in generating revenue and driving growth in both existing and new markets.

What you’ll deliver

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the Aridhia sales pipeline, establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with existing, new and potential clients. You will lead business development activities and strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders in healthcare, academic and pharma industries.

Working closely with the Aridhia Senior Management Team, you will take part in weekly sales pipeline reporting meetings and written reports. As part of this, you will use data and agility to effectively scale the sales pipeline, actively monitoring and analysing metrics such as cost per acquisition from each sales channel. You will also develop sales training and enablement content for both internal teams and partners.

Whilst supporting the Head of Enablement with onboarding optimisation including online training content, videos etc., you will also manage the website and social media channel content, managing and maintaining Aridhia CRM database, and reviewing market analysis to determine customer needs and pricing.

What you’ll bring

Essential skills and experience

  • A proven track record of driving growth
  • Sales or growth marketing experience in relevant areas such as platform/SaaS/software solutions.
  • Strong demonstrable negotiation skills
  • Currently working as Territory Manager/Sales Representative/Account Manager/Business Development Manager/Senior Sales
  • Hard working, professional and able to develop strong working relationships at all levels
  • Able to lead value-based sales conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in proposal preparation and procurement process.
  • Established marketing communications skills including the production of literature, advertisements, brochures, e-newsletters etc.
  • Experience of website and social media management.
  • Able to work on their own and as part of a team as required.
  • Good verbal and written English.
  • Good communication skills being able to adapt styles to suit various audiences.
  • Able to analyse and process data to produce reports.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Confident speaker with strong influencing skills (experience public speaking would be advantageous)
  • Full and clean EU driving licence

Desirable skills and experience

  • Sales or growth marketing experience in relevant areas such as healthcare, pharmaceutics, clinical trials, biotech, Life Sciences or similar.
  • A degree in a Life Science, ICT or related field such as Biomedical Science, Informatics, Medical Science, Mathematics etc.
  • A full and clean UK driving licence
