Product Owner

If you are an entry level technical Product Owner, who can integrate complex requirements from a collaborative, data-driven research community into successful service, this could be the ideal role for you!

As a key member of the Aridhia team you will be responsible for managing requirements for one of Aridhia products and services. The entry level Product Owner will work closely with our clients, partners, delivery, and enablement teams to guide Aridhia’s products from conception to service launch.

As part of the Product team, you’ll bridge the technical, business and service worlds as you design services that our customers require. This role might suit someone who has previously worked in a Business Analyst role.

Working with Aridhia is about more than just a job; it is a chance to make a real difference to the world. Our customers are conducting important research into diseases including Alzheimer's disease, cancer, and covid-19 and you will be supporting them.

What you’ll be doing

  • Reports to and works day-to-day with a product manager
  • Works day-to-day with the delivery team (development, QC, operations) in a product owner role (as adapted from the Agile Scrum methodology)
  • Contributes to the timely completeness of the product roadmap documentation
  • Participates in outreach programmes to ensure end-user feedback is incorporated in the roadmap
  • Developing product management skills
  • Defining and delivering product features
  • Clearly documenting requirements in a backlog
  • Ensuring the delivery team understands requirements and implements what the company requires and customers expect
  • Attending development stand ups other delivery meetings such as retrospectives and demos
  • Demonstrating the software to customers and potential customers
  • Supports commercial bid preparation
  • Can communicate Aridhia's products and services to a general audience
  • Develops mock-ups and prototypes of new features.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time: between 08:00 and 10:00
  • Finish time: between 16:00 and 18:30

What you’ll bring


  • Understanding of cloud-based business models including SaaS and PaaS
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Good interpersonal skills, empathy and ability to negotiate
  • Working understanding of key web technologies.

Desirable Qualifications/Skills

  • Informatics and information architecture
  • User experience (UX) design and documentation
  • Security certifications
  • Worked in a team setting with a joint deliverable.
