EPAD partners assemble to ensure cohort confidence

On January 29th representatives from the wider European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia Consortium (EPAD) gathered at the Edinburgh BioQuarter to discuss the ongoing data management of the EPAD Longitudinal Cohort Study (LCS). All the involved partners are contributing to ensure a level of data quality that dementia researchers can be confident in. Among other things, the team discussed and agreed upon both the schedule and structure of future LCS data releases, as we celebrated the recent landmark achievement of recruiting over 2,000 research participants.

While we wait for the next data release, you can request the latest open-access datasets through the EPAD Research Access Process website. You’ll receive the data in your very own Aridhia Workspace, and will be given the opportunity from the EPAD Research Access Administration to collaborate with other research teams who are already working with the data in our Digital Research Environment.
