We’re excited to share some major news: Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) and Aridhia are expanding our long-standing partnership to make cutting-edge clinical research tools more accessible to the wider healthcare and research community.
For the past eight years, GOSH and Aridhia have worked together to build one of the world’s most advanced Secure Digital Environments (SDEs). This platform currently supports over 400 projects across clinical and research teams at GOSH, facilitating secure and sophisticated data analysis using over two decades of clinical data.
Now, we’re taking this further.
Our new joint offering will allow other healthcare organisations and research institutions to leverage this secure, production-ready environment without the time and cost typically involved in building an SDE from scratch. It’s all about enabling innovation while keeping patient data safe and private.
Healthcare data has incredible potential, not just for direct patient care but for the development of life-saving treatments through research and collaboration with academia and industry. But using that data comes with challenges: navigating complex governance rules, ensuring data privacy, and integrating multiple types of data from electronic patient records, diagnostics, imaging, and genomics.
The GOSH DRE is built from the ground up to handle these challenges. Crucially, our model also allows industry partners to securely bring their studies to the data, within fully audited environments, without any data ever leaving GOSH’s or participating institutions control.
This partnership isn’t just about technology. It’s about combining GOSH’s clinical and research expertise with Aridhia’s secure data environment platform to reduce delivery risk, simplify governance, and accelerate time to value while keeping budgets under control.
