Aridhia.
Delivering AnalytiXagility, the self-service cloud-based data analysis platform built for biomedical research, precision medicine and healthcare communities.

About Us

Based in Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University hospital and central Edinburgh, Aridhia was founded in 2007 by Dr David Sibbald, a software entrepreneur and philanthropist, and Professor Andrew Morris, the current Chief Scientist for Health in Scotland, Professor of Medicine, Director of the Institute of Population Health Sciences and Informatics, and Vice-Principal of the University for Data Science at the University of Edinburgh.

Our multidisciplinary team of data scientists, information governance specialists, computer scientists, software developers and healthcare experts is delivering services across the UK and Europe, working collaboratively with the NHS, research organisations, life sciences companies, IT service providers and patients to transform clinical research into clinical practice.

Our Approach

No matter where you look, three common themes emerge across research and healthcare: that collaboration, information governance and consumerism are key to accelerating research and driving innovation.

To meet these requirements we have created AnalytiXagility – a collaborative data analysis platform delivering secure, auditable workspaces that help biomedical research, precision medicine and healthcare teams to engage personally, collaboratively and productively around data from multiple systems and sources in order to address complex data challenges.

Aridhia was founded on the principle that in order to bring about real change, a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to innovation is vital. With our AnalytiXagility services we are now helping clients across different disciplines and organisations, from pharmaceutical companies to academic clinicians, to pool their knowledge, experience and data.

AnalytiXagility services are delivered via 3rd generation cloud technologies, allowing our clients to focus on the science while we take care of the technology.

Today, AnalytiXagility enables the execution of collaborative business models and research projects including pre-competitive drugs trials, multi-institution and cross-border data-driven precision medicine initiatives, and integrated healthcare programmes.
